About Trinity Nexus

Trinity Nexus is a women-founded, executive-led firm built on the belief that great business starts with great relationships.

We bring together experienced leaders with backgrounds in business strategy, technology, operations, and growth. We're entrepreneurial, relationship-driven, and focused on creating meaningful partnerships with companies and decision-makers.

As we continue expanding our presence in Austin, we're looking for someone who can help us make the right connections and turn conversations into opportunities.

The Opportunity

Are you the kind of person who can walk into a room full of strangers and leave knowing half of them?

Do you enjoy connecting people, discovering opportunities, and building relationships that actually lead somewhere?

We're looking for a confident, personable, and motivated Business Development & Strategic Partnerships Associate who wants to play a meaningful role in growing our business.

This isn't a traditional sales position, and we're not looking for someone to sit behind a desk making cold calls all day.

We're looking for a natural connector. Someone who is curious about people and businesses, comfortable initiating conversations, and knows how to turn an introduction into a valuable opportunity.

You'll work directly with our founding leadership team, build relationships throughout Austin's business community, and have the flexibility to take ownership of your approach.

Your job is to open doors. We'll handle closing the deals.

What You'll Do

  • Build relationships: Connect with founders, executives, entrepreneurs, business owners, and key decision-makers throughout Austin.

  • Get out and network: Attend local business events, industry gatherings, startup events, conferences, and professional networking opportunities.

  • Identify opportunities: Research growing companies, emerging businesses, and organizations that could benefit from a strategic partnership.

  • Start conversations: Initiate thoughtful outreach through LinkedIn, email, referrals, networking, and personal introductions.

  • Make meaningful introductions: Turn promising conversations into qualified business meetings with our leadership team.

  • Develop partnerships: Identify individuals, organizations, and businesses that could become valuable long-term referral or strategic partners.

  • Keep relationships moving: Follow up consistently, maintain an organized pipeline, and help turn initial connections into ongoing opportunities.

  • Bring new ideas: Help us identify creative ways to expand our visibility, strengthen our network, and generate new business.

You'll focus on building connections and creating opportunities, while our leadership team manages proposals, negotiations, and closing.

Who We're Looking For

We're less concerned with an impressive resume and more interested in the person behind it.

You'll likely be a great fit if you:

  • Are outgoing, personable, and genuinely enjoy meeting new people.

  • Have the confidence to start conversations and the curiosity to keep them going.

  • Understand that successful business relationships are built on trust, not transactional pitches.

  • Are self-motivated, resourceful, and comfortable working independently.

  • Communicate clearly and professionally, both in person and in writing.

  • Have strong follow-through and know how to keep a conversation moving.

  • Enjoy being part of Austin's growing business and entrepreneurial community.

  • Are ambitious, entrepreneurial, and excited by the opportunity to directly influence business growth.

  • Are motivated by performance-based compensation and the potential to increase your earnings.

Previous experience in business development, sales, partnerships, hospitality, events, community engagement, or professional services is a plus, but not required.

Personality, initiative, relationship-building ability, and follow-through matter more to us than a particular job title.
